THE CITY OF SPRINGDALE
Your Next Homes is Waiting For You
Although founded in the 1830s, the city began a redevelopment and revitalization plan in 2005 to update and restore the downtown area. This process has sparked the expansion of museums, parks, a performing arts center and even a farmers market. The revitalized historic downtown has preserved some of the town’s unique history, and the area now has a Performing Arts Center as well as a community playhouse theater. And with 70 miles of trails to walk, a skate park and a variety of golf courses, the town has a plethora of activities for families and homebuyers.
Parsons Stadium in eastern Springdale is host to many events throughout the year, most notably the Rodeo of the Ozarks. This four-day event began in Springdale in 1944 and brings professional cowboys and cowgirls to the city for one of the nation's top outdoor rodeos. Always hosted on Independence Day weekend, the event brings a parade, the Miss Rodeo of the Ozarks Pageant, and the Grand Entrance to the stadium. It also hosts Buckin' in the Ozarks (a Professional Bull Riders [PBR] event), Arenacross (a motocross competition with professional and amateur exhibitions) during Bikes Blues and BBQ weekend, and other motorized exhibitions. Notable points of interest include:
- Arts One Presents
